Chart notes
KEEN HEIR , four wide to contention past the seven eighths, stalked a dueling pair three wide past the five eighths, moved in steadily and joined STREET HUMOR from his outside with a quarter to go, exchanged a light bump soon into the lane, dueled head and head from there while on his left lead, gained a slim advantage in deep stretch, wandered outward in the final yards and narrowly prevailed. STREET HUMOR vied outside a rival through the opening half mile then edged clear in the two path, was engaged by KEEN HEIR nearing the quarter pole, drifted out a touch bumping with that one in upper stretch, corrected to battle from there, kept on valiantly while racing on his left lead past the sixteenth pole and just missed in a sharp effort. QUARTERBACK DAK broke a step slow then steadied soon after, regrouped, angled in and was taken to rate, moved up to be in range past the five eighths, saw the leaders get away leaving the three eighths, stayed inside for the drive and came back on with effort to gain the show. READY TO STORM chased off the inside, raced between runners leaving the far turn, emerged as the closest pursuer of the dueling leaders while in the clear into the stretch, kept on willingly past mid stretch then flattened out. BODEMONSTER lost ground four wide and failed to respond. RAILWAY got engaged in a duel to the inside of STREET HUMOR soon after the start, carried that scrum to the half mile marker, stayed on to chase leaving the far turn then weakened nearing the stretch.
