Chart notes
CARSON N SPENCE stalked the pace to the far turn, rallied to the lead from three wide nearing the quarter pole, drifted out to the five path turning for home, pulled clear in upper stretch to take control and maintained the lead unthreatened in the lane. DUSTY BILLY slow early to be the trailer through the first turn, rallied down the backstretch to track the leaders at the three-eighths pole, moved to the leaders from four wide at the quarter pole, was carried out by the winner at the top of the lane and finished willingly as second best while unable to keep pace with the winner. WHO CAN'T WAIT set the pace on a clear lead to midway on the far turn, responded briefly when challenged at the quarter pole and weakened through the lane when tiring. STRIKE PLATE was restless in the gate, broke well to be caught five wide in the first turn, settled to a tracking position down the backside, rallied to contention on the far turn and flattened out in the lane unable to sustain the bid. SO CO MANHATTAN chased the leaders through the first turn settled off the pace near the rear of the field down the backside and failed to mount a bid. BOBBY ROB was not a factor.
