Chart notes
LIGHT THE BEAM , a forward factor in the two path on the turn, was alertly taken to the inner rail entering the stretch, took command in upper stretch and drew away under brisk urging. RHODESIA , under urging soon after the start, set the pace near the inner rail, moved to the two path approaching the stretch, lost the lead and weakened. BAD SNEAKERS chased the pace in the three path between horses bid for the lead on the turn and flattened out. PEDAL TO THE METAL , outside horses on the turn, swung to the six path in upper stretch and failed to menace. COPPER COASTLINE , four deep, chased the pace to the stretch and gave way. TEDDY'S TRIUMPH prompted the pace outside RHODESIA and weakened. BUBBA BAY was outrun. TALK OF THE TOWN , along the rail leaving the backstretch and around the turn, gave way.
