Chart notes
LACHICAFORTEQUILA , three wide around both turns, closed outside, led approaching the sixteenth pole then drew off. FIRE AT MIDNIGHT lacked speed, raced in the two path between horses on the far turn, swung to the four path at the head of the lane and passed tired rivals. QUIT QUAY set the pace, hugged the inner rail when opening up on the far turn and tired in the drive. A LOTTA MOXIE stalked the pace, was well placed in the two path on the far turn and gave way. STORM CREED , outrun, swung four wide turning for home. CHAMPAGNE DANCE , three wide the first turn, chased the pace for six furlongs and faltered. KAPATUDE stayed along the inner rail stalking the pace and faltered on the far turn.
