Chart notes
I'M MCDREAMY broke on top, clear into and through the first turn, rated in the run up the backstretch, extended that advantage through the final turn, had plenty left in the drive to remain well clear to the wire. LAT LONG broke back, raced keen into the first turn when firmly in hand, continued unhurried when able to see them all up the backstretch, nudged along late second turn, got through inside of most of the field turning into the stretch, continued willingly to the end while left with too much to do. DAILY GRIND off a step slow, moved up to mid pack before a quarter, continued in the main body into the far turn, in some traffic through that bend, came three wide for the drive and rallied mildly to be along for the show. INDY MAGIC tracked the winner from along the inside, continued to save ground into the far turn, shuffled back to lose considerable position when in a bit tight through most of that bend, cut the corner to regain position into the lane, modest amount of late interest to improve position. SHOW TIME forwardly placed while angling in a bit in the first turn to save some ground, in traffic again through the second bend when within striking distance, came up empty for the stretch run to finish up evenly. GUN PARTY broke back, lacked speed off the inside, three wide into the far turn, advanced while moving out five wide in traffic, failed to sustain that advance down the stretch. MILLERS RITE fell back off the pace while toward the inside early, in some traffic into first turn, moved out a path around a troubled INDY MAGIC in the second turn, came three wide for the drive but lacked a closing response. ANTHONIAN back off the pace after five wide through the first turn, continued well wide, moved closer five to six wide through the second bend, hung in the drive. HERN five wide into the first turn, four wide through the second bend, tired in the drive from between horses. GUNFLASH five wide into the first turn when well off the pace, raced back and and continued well wide middle half, fanned seven wide into the lane, remained near the back to the wire. LIAM'S JOURNEY chased the winner from the three path for six furlongs then stopped in the drive. FOLLOWING A CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE RIDER OF INDY MAGIC AGAINST DAILY GRIND FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE IN THE SECOND TURN, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
