Chart notes

MOMISSIONER was first to the turn and attempted to slow the pace down despite ROARING RAPIDS pressing the issue to the outside, was confidently to handled to the stretch, had something in reserved when set down at the top of the stretch, opened up then held off a late bid from KANTAKE to prevail. KANTAKE raced at the back of the main group while not too far from the front, moved out approaching the quarter pole, finished with good energy in the stretch and just missed. ROARING RAPIDS stalked to the outside of MOMISSIONER while letting that foe dictate the fractions, had that rival get the jump at the top of the stretch, ran on under strong handling and urging but was unable to threaten while finishing evenly hold third. GWYNETH'S MALIBU settled two wide tucked in behind the dueling leaders, maintained position to the far turn, then launched a bid from the quarter pole, encountered some traffic in upper stretch, angled out to the four or five path and was gaining but too late. CAVALLINO RAMPANTE settled behind the pace while holding the rail, had to be coaxed a bit entering the far turn, lacked room to make a bid until late on last turn then was unable to rally when clear. HUMONGOUSAMONGUS was hard to load, then hesitated at the start, was slow in to stride and spotted the field a head start, dropped far behind early and trailed throughout.
