Chart notes
GLOBAL HOLIDAY settled two deep at the back of the very tight field, started a forward move approaching the quarter pole then finished up well under steady handling and intermittent urging, battled BRINGONTHEBUBBLY to mid-stretch then edged clear late. BRINGONTHEBUBBLY hustled into the first turn intent on the lead, was left to dictate the pace with the rest in very close pursuit, opened up a clear lead on the far turn the tried to get a way in the stretch but was challenged by GLOBAL HOLIDAY to the outside, battled that foe to mid-stretch then weakened. SHE'S EXTRA tracked inside just off the pacesetter to the half, lacked room to make a move on the far turn then got free at the top of the stretch but was outfinished. RON'S LAVENDER raced inside of GLOBAL HOLIDAY, saved ground throughout made a late bid up the rail, loomed a big threat to mid-stretch but weakened inside the sixteenth. STARTECA was sent for forward position from the break, sat just off of BRINGONTHEBUBBLY allowing that one to dictate fractions through the first half mile, struggled to keep pace with the others after passing the three furlong marker and was not a factor in the stretch.
