Chart notes
DARK IVORY COAST hustled to assume early command, showed good speed into the turn then dictated terms while clear nearing the quarter marker, kept to task into the stretch, felt a bit of pressure late from the oncoming runner-up and held sway in the final stages. CHASE THE MOON chased the early pace from outside of runners, went three to four wide nearing the quarter marker, finished well in the stretch drive, could not reel in the winner late and bested the rest. FS MAXXIMUMM rated off of the early pace, steadied slightly approaching the turn then tracked the pace while saving ground along the bend, maintained a rail path to the stretch, closed well into the final sixteenth and got up in time to secure the show. SPLISH SPLASH chased the early pace from the rail, shifted out a bit into upper stretch, made a steady advance through the lane but was outkicked late and missed for the show honors. MAGA MAN chased the early pacesetter from between runners, went two three wide nearing the quarter marker, drifted out into upper stretch, ran in pursuit while on the left lead into the final furlong then lacked a late response. EVERYBODY KNOWS bobbled at the start and was off slowly, recovered and chased three to four wide nearing the quarter marker, swung five to six wide into upper stretch then mounted a mild late rally. IMPEACHABULL bobbled at the start and was off a bit slowly, got caught in tight approaching the three-eighths then chased four to five wide nearing the quarter marker, shifted in into upper stretch then failed to threaten late. BREAKIN THE RULZ got caught a bit in tight early and checked out of trouble heading to the turn, trailed while saving ground nearing the quarter marker then was not a factor in the stretch drive.
