Chart notes
TUNED TO THE MOON broke alertly and took command in the opening sixteenth, set a rated pace towards the inner rail, handled some outer pressure from HAPPY HOUR JOKER into and around the turn, spurted clear approaching the stretch then was guided to about the three path, turned away HAPPY HOUR JOKER as that one attempted a comeback in mid stretch, widened under drive then was kept alert through the final yards. HAPPY HOUR JOKER broke a step slow, quickly recovered and moved up to prompt the pace outside the winner, failed to quicken with that one soon into the lane, came back some while four wide past the three sixteenths, had her threat thwarted, wandered outward in deep stretch but managed to just save the place. LASS SASSENACH broke sharply then was rated back off the leaders, dropped down towards the rail and settled into the turn, saved ground gathering some steam into the stretch, took closer order past mid stretch then continued on willingly and while just missing second. WICKED MELISSA , sluggish from the gate, lagged under a ride, saved ground into the stretch and failed to respond.
