Chart notes
YANKEESTROLGY laid off of the pace in the four path, crept closer in the four to five path turning for home to be within striking range of the new leader in upper stretch, flopped back to his left lead while chasing into the final furlong, sustained gradual progress to issue a late bid and got up at the wire. FIRST SAMARITAN vied for the lead with an inner rival while taking the turn in the three path, gained an advantage entering the lane, inched clear while hanging on his left lead in upper stretch, changed over at the furlong grounds, dug in to cling to advantage in deep stretch but got nailed at the wire. SEVEN DIGITS saved ground off of the pace, shifted out to the four path leaving the three sixteenths pole, rallied between horses leaving midstretch and narrowly gained show at the wire. THE WICKED CAT brushed with an inner rival leaving the gate, tracked in the three path, tipped to the four path while within striking range between horses nearing the lane, then willingly chased the leaders through the final furlong and got nailed at the wire for show. HIGHER CHARGE pursued from midpack in the two to three path, floated out to the five path while chasing into the lane and sustained pursuit evenly. FINAL HALF stalked close up along the inside, chased two wide and between horses while hanging on his left lead between horses in upper stretch and lacked a bid. V CUT leaned outwardly when the gates sprung, brushed a foe and was off slow, lagged behind in the two path approaching the turn then moved up between horses in the final furlong. CUSTOM FOR J J lacked speed in the three path, shifted out to the six path into the lane and failed to factor. QUEEN'S KNIGHT vied for the lead with an outer rival into and around the turn, but got headed entering the lane and weakened.
