CLUBHOUSE dueled from the three path down the backstretch with KING KHALI to his inside, shook off that rival into the turn and showed the way remaining three wide, went five wide into upper stretch set down for the drive, edged away under a drive to the eighth pole, dug in and held well and safe to the finish. MASTERWORK chased five then four wide coming under encouragement at the three-eighths pole, went seven wide into upper stretch, dug in under a drive running on to secure the place honors. BECAUSE THE NIGHT four wide in pursuit, got ridden along at the seven-sixteenths, angled out seven wide into upper stretch, offered up a mild kick. ACTIVE DUTY chased five paths off the inside under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, angled out nine to ten wide into upper stretch, kicked on belatedly to the wire. PERFECT FLIGHT chased six to seven paths off the inside down the backstretch and then four wide through the turn coaxed along from the five-sixteenths, angled out eight to nine wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late stages. BEACHWALKER chased five to six paths off the inside down the backstretch before tucking three wide at the half mile pole placed to encouragement, angled five to six wide into upper stretch and passed tired rivals. WAKE SURF chased two to three wide under a ride from the seven-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch, offered no response. MY COOL HAND LUKE chased along the inside and then just off the inside under urging from the seven-sixteenths, swung three wide at the top of the stretch before taking to the inside straightened away and weakened. DADS GOOD RUNNER got away to an awkward beginning when the rider's momentum was against the bit, chased three then two wide under encouragement from the seven-sixteenths, tipped three to four wide for home and tired. KING KHALI dueled early on inside of CLUBHOUSE until shaken off by that rival near the seven-sixteenths marker, gave chase under urging from the three-eighths, angled three to four wide into upper stretch and tired. INDIANQUEST chases just off the inside and then along the inside under prolonged urging from the half mile pole, cornered just off the inside into upper stretch, made no impact.
