Chart notes
WICKED TROUBLE a step slow away from the start, settled while never far back early on, roused five to six wide into upper stretch, closed fast to take command entering the final sixteenth and drew clear late. ITS A NEW GENERATION disputed the early pace four then three wide into the turn, pressed three deep heading to the quarter pole, battled into the lane then took a narrow lead at the furlong marker, led into the final sixteenth, was overtaken by the winner in deep stretch then held late for the place. FAVORITE VALENTINE Z a step slow leaving the start, rushed up and chased four wide nearing the quarter marker, closed in the lane, was gaining late and got up in time for the show honors. LETHAL FAST MAN broke alertly and disputed the early pace from the inside, battled into the lane, could not match strides with the top pair late and just missed for the show honors at the wire. NEW FRONTIER vied for the early lead from between runners, disputed the pace two wide and between foes at the quarter pole, battled into the stretch, weakened late and was outfinished for the minor awards. ZOOMINTHRUCARSONCITY broke awkwardly, chased the early pace three wide to the turn, shifted to the rail into upper stretch then failed to threaten late. RUN BUBBA RUN vied between runners leaving the start, shuffled entering the turn, chased three to four wide into the stretch and lacked the needed late response. EYEM BACK chased widest early, lugged out turn, swung widest upper stretch, no factor.
