Chart notes
JESS A OUTLAW forwardly placed early, pressed the pace three wide approaching the quarter pole then chased JESS A ROYAL into the stretch, responded in the lane, took command into the final sixteenth and edged clear late to prove best. JESS A ROYAL showed good early speed, set the pace from the inside entering the turn, led into the stretch then kept to task into the final sixteenth, could not hold off the winner in deep stretch and was second best. WELL TA DO took back leaving the start, saved ground into the turn then was caught a bit in tight at the quarter marker, closed in the stretch drive and held late for the show. JESSIE JONES FLASH chased the pace four wide and between runners, ran in pursuit into the stretch, offered a mild late bid and was outfinished for the show honors. MR JESS EFFORT chased the pace outside of runners, went five to six wide nearing the quarter marker, gained ground into the stretch then could not sustain that run and flattened out. COMIC HOT TODDY lacked early speed, saved ground to the top of the lane and mounted a mild late rally. FIRST APOLLO MOON prominent early, pressed the pace two wide and between runners nearing the quarter marker then faded in the lane.
