Chart notes
BAREBACK FUN prompted the pace for the first quarter mile, rallied four wide turning for home to engage the pacesetter in upper stretch and edged clear in a determined drive. GIRL BYE set the pace on a clear lead to the quarter pole, responded when challenged at the top of the lane and gave way stubbornly in the late stages. MISS SHADY unhurried in the early going to be at the back of the pace, saved ground through the turn cutting the corner turning for home and rallied up the fence with a steady gain through the lane. SECRET SEDUCTION stalked the pace from the inside through the turn to be well placed and lacked a closing kick. JEN'S BATTLE reserved off the pace while caught five wide the entire way, angled wider out in the lane and passed weaker rivals with a grinding rally. BLAZING ZENNA bobbled a bit leaving the gate, raced mid-pack and went evenly failing to menace. CAGUA tracked the leaders from four wide through the turn, lacked a response when called upon leaving the quarter pole and faded in the stretch. SWEET BELEN was not a threat.
