Chart notes

TAKEMETOTHEMOON controlled the pace, widened when ready on the final turn and drew off handily. LIBERTY RUNNER far behind early, moved wide in the stretch and was gamely up for the place. VIN SANTO saved ground off the pace and continued willingly in the stretch. SHEER DOMINANCE trailed early, came out crowing rival at the top of the stretch and was no factor. TRAVEL GUIDE went after the winner on the final turn then gave way in the stretch. BLACKWATER FALLS raced outside and weakened steadily. EL DE LEO prompted the pace in the two path then was taken up fading at the top of the stretch. SURFBOARD was urged close up three wide for half a mile and stopped abruptly.
