Chart notes
SPENCER'S BOY LUNA unhurried for the first half mile to be the trailer, commenced a steady rally midway on the far turn, circling the field from seven wide to be gaining in the lane and surged when finding his best stride late to be up in time. MOREAU took the lead through the first turn, settled off MANFREDI between calls, re-claimed the lead at the half mile pole, maintained the advantage to upper stretch, dug-in gamely when challenged midway down the lane to hold the lead to the final fifty yards and was caught in the final strides in a good effort. JOHN'S ROCK stalked the pace to the three-eighths pole, rallied to prominence on the far turn, dueled the pacesetter inside the final eighth and clould not get passed. MANFREDI raced a bit rank through the first turn pulling along the inside whil in tight, raced up the inside to take the lead at the five-eighths pole, surrendered the lead nearing the half mile pole to continue to press the pace to the far turn and weakened on the bend fading from contention. SILENCE raced midpack to the far turn, rallied to gain ground on the far turn and flattened out turning for home. RAVEN MOON was no factor.
