Chart notes
BAILAMOS reserved off the pace near the rear of the field, angled in to the two path saving ground on the turn, rallied in upper stretch to engage the pacesetter in the final sixteenth and closed well to be going away in deep stretch. BUCKET LIST dueled on the lead from the inside to the quarter pole, kicked clear in upper stretch and could not hold off the winner late in the lane. DESTINO broke alertly, settled in hand to be at the back of the field, rallied nearing the quarter pole angling eight wide and closed with a belated rally on the outside. DEUS EX MACHINA tracked the leaders into the turn, rallied from five wide on the bend and finished evenly unable to sustain the bid. DIXIE'S TWO STENTS stalked the pace to midway on the turn, responded with a mild bid to be prominent in upper stretch, lugged-in through the lane causing HUB to take up in mid-stretch and lacked a closing kick. BUEHLER'S DAY OFF went evenly. HUB raced up from between rivals early to surge to the lead, pressedthe pace to the quarter pole, tired in upper stretch and was steadied nearing the eighth pole without consequence as his race had already been run. MSHINDI was not a factor. THE STEWARDS POSTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH RUN AND UPON REVIEW MADE NO CHANGE.
