Chart notes
DRILL CITY reserved off the pace down the backside, commenced a rally splitting rivals nearing the three-eighths pole, angled in saving ground on the bend, cut the corner turning for home to go quickly clear in upper stretch and pulled away as much the best. WAR ON THE RIVER stalked the pace to the turn, rallied four wide to challenge for the lead turning for home, was no match for the winner and kept-on willingly through the lane to hold the place. MOONSHINE JOE unhurried early to be the trailer in a closely grouped pack down the backstretch and made a steady rally to be along for the show. STRIKE PLATE raced mid-pack along the inside to be well placed and lacked a closing response when called upon. BOBBY ROB emerged from the pack coming out of the chute to take a short lead, held the lead under constant pressure to the quarter pole and weakened coming home. WHO CAN'T WAIT raced in contention early and came up empty. SEEKING FREEDOM pressed the early pace down the backside, settled to mid-pack between rivals into the turn, was shuffled when in tight on the turn to drop to the back of the field and showed no further interest from there.
