Chart notes
JOHN FITZGERALD tracked the leaders on the turn, rallied four wide turning for home, drifted out in upper stretch and closed well to take command inside the eighth pole and hold the closer safe. DUSTY BILLY unhurried in the early going, remained at the rear of the field turning for home, angled out to split rivals at the head of the lane and rallied well in the lane to be gaining in deep stretch. SOULLESS set the pace down the backside under mild pressure, was challenged on the turn, repelled the pressers to mid-stretch and weakened late in the drive in a game effort. SOL OF VAQUERO was well placed in contention to the quarter pole along the inside and lacked a closing bid when called upon`. DRILL'S BOY trailed down the backside, rallied five wide to prominence on the turn and flattened out at the top of the lane. GUESS AGAIN chased the pace for three-eighths and faded on the bend. FORT GRANDE pressed the pace from between rivals to the quarter pole and tired.
