Chart notes
SECRET EMPIRE was a bit fractious in the gate, vied inside for the lead, dueled on the turn, shook free turning for home, drew clear under urging and was kept to the task. STANLEY CAT vied outside for the lead, dueled with the winner on the turn, dug in gamely in the stretch run but second best. ARROW GHOST tracked on the inside, chased on the turn, weakened and held for third. DANGEROUS DRIVER raced off the pace, saved ground on the turn, closed belatedly inside and missed for third. HOTTAKEJAKE raced off the pace, angled out in upper stretch and failed to threaten. STILL SHARP raced off the pace, chased two wide on the turn, came three wide into the lane and had no rally. RAY'S BLUE WAGON was outrun. AMERICAN WIND chased two wide and faded.
