Chart notes
RENATUS chased from off the pace, traveled four wide around the bend, rallied from outside and edged TROPICAL RAIN DAY in the end. TROPICAL RAIN DAY chased out of range in the early going, followed the leader in the two path through the turn, reeled in the frontrunner with a sixteenth remaining but got outclosed by the winner. KAPALUA RIDE sent for the lead from inside, set all the pace to the stretch, was run down at the sixteenth pole by the top pair and managed to hold third. DIXIE ALLURE raced near the back well off the inside, went five wide into the turn, steered across to the inside around the bend, produced a mild rally but needed to find more late. SIEMPRE NAMAN coaxed along outside a rival at the back, went two then three wide around the bend, drifted to the rail in the lane and failed to threaten. LUCKY NEA climbed early and dropped back, traveled along the fence then shifted to two path midway around the bend and was never a factor. SAINT SHELIA chased outside a rival out of range, went three wide around the bend and weakened.
