Chart notes
MCTHANKS allowed to settle in the early going, chased outside of rivals along the turn, mounted a five to six wide rally into the stretch then closed determinedly into the final sixteenth, wore down foes in deep stretch and got up in the final strides for a game win. AR YA WEEGEE prominent early, contested the pace to the turn, took command along the bend then led into upper stretch while off of the rail, dug in through the lane and held a narrow lead into the final sixteenth, was tagged by the oncoming winner in the final strides and held for the place in a game runner-up effort. DELBERT TOO forwardly placed in the early stages, chased three wide to the turn then vied for the lead at the quarter pole, stubbornly battled between rivals into the stretch, could not find more into the late stages and was outfinished for the win and place, while holding safely for the show. ONE MARK squeezed back at the start and a step slow to begin, rushed up heading to the turn, chased five then four wide nearing the quarter pole, vied for the lead into upper stretch, lacked a response into the final sixteenth then was outkicked in deep stretch. THUNDER DOME rated off of the early pace then was roused four wide entering the turn, got shuffled back at the quarter pole and chased three wide into upper stretch, lacked room into the final sixteenth and did not offer a late response. ANTONIOS MARK sent leaving the start, disputed the early pace heading to the turn, chased the pace from the inside nearing the quarter pole, ran in pursuit into the stretch, could not keep pace into the final sixteenth and gave way. SPINNING BLACK took back in the early stages, trailed at the quarter pole, swung wide for the stretch drive and did not factor late.
