Chart notes
AWESOME WALKER tracked the early pace from outside of runners, went up to press the pace four then three wide nearing the quarter pole, took command leaving the quarter pole, drew away in the stretch and held sway under hand urging in the late stages. MARQUEE'S STORM never far back in the early going, raced a bit in tight through the turn, chased two then three wide into upper stretch, was no match for the winner into the final furlong and stayed on late to best the rest. SHELLY D'ORO chased three wide to the turn, roused six wide into upper stretch, closed willingly into the final sixteenth and held safely late for the show. ROSE GIRL hustled away from the start, disputed the early pace three wide and between runners heading to the turn, gained command along the turn then dueled to the quarter pole, battled into upper stretch, tired in the final sixteenth and was outfinished for the show. HEAR ME ROAR chased the early pace four then three wide heading to the turn, was well placed at the quarter pole, ran in pursuit four wide into the stretch and weakened in the final furlong. ATTILAS GAL showed good early speed from the inside, chased the pace from the rail nearing the quarter pole, could not keep pace into the stretch and gave way in the final stages. ATHENA'S STORM chased the early pace, ran in pursuit four wide along the turn, was coaxed along five wide into the stretch and lacked a late response. SHAME ON CHARLOTTE took back off of the early pace, chased outside of runners nearing the quarter marker, swung seven to eight wide for the stretch drive then was not a factor in the lane. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
