Chart notes
DISCREET MOB broke alertly and assumed early command, set the pace to the turn then was confronted along the bend and dueled from the two path nearing the quarter marker, shook free of WALKIN TALKIN BOB into the stretch, drew away past the furlong marker, was a bit green into the final sixteenth and was geared down late to win as much the best. WALKIN TALKIN BOB tracked the early pace then rushed up inside of rivals and pressed the pace into the turn, dueled inside of DISCREET MOB nearing the quarter marker, lost ground into upper stretch and chased to the furlong marker, was no match for the winner late and stayed on to be a clear second best. FORWARD OBSERVER chased the early pace from outside of rivals, ran in pursuit four wide nearing the quarter marker, could not keep pace with the top pair into the stretch and outfinished the rest to earn the show honors. RUNDOFT dwelt at the start and spotted the field to begin, saved ground into the turn and made a steady gain to the stretch, needed more in the late stages and missed for third. SAPELLO SICARIO close up in the early stages, stalked the pace two to three wide into the turn, could not keep pace into upper stretch and gave way in the final furlong. STELLA BOY chased the early pace, ran in pursuit four to five wide along the turn, could not muster a response into the stretch and did not factor in the late stages. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
