Chart notes
ST. ARMANDS KEY stalked along the inside, pursued the leading trio while moving out around the far turn, took aim four wide into the lane, bid and drove clear at the furlong grounds, shifted out to meet EFF THIRTY FIVE's challenge at the sixteenth pole, exchanged light contact with that one while dueling in the late stages and held gamely. EFF THIRTY FIVE laid off of the pace two wide, moved out to the four path in upper stretch, rallied in the six path into the final furlong, bid at the sixteenth pole, shared blame in a brush while dueling in the closing stages and was fended off. LE GRIS shied subtly from an inner rival just after the start, laid off of the pace along the inside, drifted out to the eight path entering the lane and rallied willingly to reach show at the wire. REALIGNMENT saved ground in midpack, moved out to the five path at the three sixteenths pole, ran on between foes into the final furlong, claimed show at the sixteenth pole but got outkicked by an outer rival at the wire. FREEDOM'S WAY stalked three wide, bid around the far turn, wrestled a brief advantage in upper stretch but before being outkicked by an outer rival nearing the furlong grounds and gave way. CAMARO Z pressed two wide, bid between horses around the far turn, but got outkicked and yielded at the furlong grounds. RECORD TIME tracked two wide and between horses, chased in the three path around the far turn, floated out to the six path into the lane and tired. CREATE TROUBLE set the pace along the inside, was confronted by a pair of outer challengers around the far turn, got headed in upper stretch and faded. YELLOW BRICK broke slowly, trailed along the inside and never got involved. BREAKING ALONE was eased back between horses at the start, steadied when an outer foe moved across her path early on, raced off of the pace three wide and got outrun. THE RIDER OF EFF THIRTY FIVE CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST ST ARMANDS KEY ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN DEEP STRETCH, BUT THE OBJECTION WAS DISALLOWED BY THE STEWARDS.
