Chart notes
MON GATEAU broke alertly, took control leaving the first turn, set a wicked solo pace into the far turn, widened into the lane, held clear driving through the wire. THE WOLFMAN stalked the pace two deep to second bend, no match for speedy winner, chased on willingly to finish a clear second. OVERLY CRITICAL well back four deep leaving the quarter pole, six deep driving nearing the sixteenth marker, along late for the show. HAGLER slow start, chased between around the far turn, evened out through the final sixteenth, missed out on the show. MY FRIENDS BEER slow start, ground saving trip into the lane, inside leaving the sixteenth pole, had no late kick. AL LOVES JOSIE tracked off the top pair to far turn, bid off the inside leaving the quarter pole, weakened stretch. DREAM RIVER off pace mid pack to far turn, chased four deep leaving the quarter pole, came up empty. THE KHOZAN ONE slow start, lacked speed to far turn, never factored.
