Chart notes
JUST MURPHY chased the pace three deep into the lane, closed in determinedly outside through the final sixteenth, all out in time. SAPPHIRUS steadily advanced inside leaving the chute, kicked on with good speed leaving the quarter pole, inside through the final sixteenth finished gamely through the wire. OUR BRIGHTEST STAR chased the pace three wide around the bend, quickly shifted out five wide leaving the furlong marker, running on the wrong lead closed the gap willingly to the wire. RIDE THE BRAND chased the pace two deep into the lane, angled inside had clear run leaving the sixteenth pole, lacked the extra punch to grab a spot on the podium. TUP'S TO TAKE off the pace and off the rail around the turn, three deep left lead upper, flattened out. EL MORITO chased off the pace four deep leaving the quarter pole, came up empty. GETTIN SPICY very slow into stride, rail skimming trip into the lane, had no late kick. SHINEY GHOST chased inside around the turn, weakened. DIVA'S DEMON pressed hard four wide into the turn, gave way.
