Chart notes
HAPI HAPI tracked in the five to four path, was roused to range closer outside of the clear leader around the far turn, bid turning for home and drove clear entering the lane. IMPASSIONED CLAIM leaned outwardly leaving the gate, stalked in the four path to three path, yielded place to an outer foe down the backstretch, shifted out whlie chasing in upper stretch, yet ran on to regain place in the closing stages. CALIFORNIA SWING was last away, trailed along the inside, then produced a rail rally through the lane to miss place. ORTH showed the way in the three path, but got overhauled by an outer bidder nearing the lane then weakened between rivals late. OUTOFQUEMADO pursued from midpack in the two to three path, then ran on willingly before encountering mild traffic late. HARBOR THUNDER pursued from midpack in the three to two path and gave way. MONTANA was outrun.
