Chart notes

UNION COACH broke a bit outwardly tracked three wide, bid at the quarter pole, dueled with an inner rival through the final furlong, then narrowly prevailed between horses. FLYIN BY stalked two wide, bid along with an outer rival at the quarter pole, sparred with that one through the final furlong and narrowly missed. RUNNING SUPER bobbled at the start, pursued from midpack four wide, rallied to bid outside of the top pair nearing the wire and missed. MOVINGLIKEAWINNER trailed in the three path then rallied willingly. BOURBON TIGER tracked near the inside, chased two wide into the final furlong and lacked a bid. CHARYBDIS showed the way uncontested along the inside, remained well in hand around the turn, met a pair of outer challenges at the quarter pole, then weakened through the lane. LADY MARY LOU pursued from the two path and made little impact.
