Chart notes
CUPID'S WAR broke a beat slow but was pushed to the front, vied three wide down the backstretch, then took command under confident handling with three furlongs to run, opened up and won clear under steady handling and intermittent urging. TALLAPOOSA got bumped when SHAMAN SEZ rebounded after getting bumped by CAPTAIN'S FLAGt, was still able to press the early pace from the rail then took up just before the five-sixteenths pole, lost some momentum then spun three wide into the stretch and came back on late under left handed urging to gain second. MINIMO reserved while being kept three to four wide by SHAMAN SEZ , was five wide at the top of the stretch, had trouble changing leads but was able to rally to gain the third spot. CAPTAIN'S FLAG ducked in at the start into the path of SHAMAN SEZ made hard contact with that foe, then was hustled forward, vied between horses to the three-furlong pole, surrendered the lead to CUPID'S WAR passing the three furlong marker and weakened in the stretch. SHAMAN SEZ was was bumped by CAPTAIN'S FLAG just after the start, steadied when the runners on both sides converged in front right after the break, was under a ride early while chasing three wide, then went flat in the stretch. THE JOCKEY ON #1 TALLAPOOSA LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST #4 CUPIDS WAR ALLEGING INTERFERENCE ON THE TURN. AFTER A REVIEW THE STEWARDS RULED THERE WAS INSUFFICIENT EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT A CHANGE AND DISALLOWED THE OBJECTION AND THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH WAS MADE OFFICIAL.
