Chart notes
PLUNDER was away well, allowed to settle into stride, raced three wide through the turn traveling well, bid four wide passing the quarter pole, responded when set down at that point, edged ahead entering the furlong grounds then went clear under strong handling and intermittent urging. MY LAST ESCAPADE broke inward at the break then was under a drive from the start, pressed two wide into the turn, briefly had a slight led in upper stretch but could not go on when PLUNDER challenged in mid-stretch, held on well to save the place well clear of the rest. RAMESSES was asked for speed from the break then settled behind th space, tracked inside to the stretch, had to navigate around a tiring TEAM TROY inn mid-stretch then kept on some under steady handling to claim the third spot in the final yards. RAGNOW chased the early pace four wide down the backstretch, made a five wide bid into the stretch, then flattened out. WESTEROS broke outward a the start then was rushed up, stalked the early leaders three wide, was unable to join the fray then dropped down to the rail before the stretch, was put to left handed urging but lacked a response. BERKUS (FR) veered out at the start then was unable to keep up with the pace despite coaxing by the rider, dropped further on the turn and chased the rest of the way passing one tired foe near the wire. TEAM TROY broke well but was getting leaned on by MY LAST ESCAPE through the initial yards, dueled that foe from the rail into the turn, remained prominent to the three-sixteenths pole then tired late.
