Chart notes
ATTILA'S LAST CALL hustled to assume early command, set decent fractions while well handled along the turn, dug in into upper stretch, held off foes into the final sixteenth and lasted at the wire for a game win. HOLY BULLET hopped at the start and was away a bit slowly, rushed up in the early stages then chased four wide into the turn, brushed with OL' MCCLINTOCK into upper stretch, closed willingly into the final sixteenth, could not get by the determined winner in deep stretch and won the head nod for second on the wire. OL' MCCLINTOCK forwardly placed early on, chased three wide nearing the quarter marker, brushed with HOLY BULLET into upper stretch, dove inside for the final sixteenth then finished well late, could not reel in the winner in deep stretch and just missed for second, while clear of the rest for third. SINAI chased the decent early pace from outside of rivals, ran in pursuit five wide nearing the quarter marker, spun six wide into upper stretch then was outkicked late. C JACK sent to be prominent early, pressed the decent pace two wide into the turn, lost position into upper stretch then weakened in the final furlong. PEEKAY tracked the decent pace from the inside then did not offer a late rally. AMERICAN RED ducked out at the start and was off slowly, trailed into the turn, chased two wide into upper stretch then tired in the drive. THE STEWARDS CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY INTO THE ACTIONS OF HOLY BULLET AND OL' MCCLINTOCK IN UPPER STRETCH. THE STEWARDS RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE TO THE ORDER OF FINISH.
