Chart notes
CHAMA STORM prominent away from the start, went up to assume a narrow early lead and set a pressured pace into the turn, carved out moderate fractions while two to three wide nearing the quarter marker, met the bid of IT'S A GIRL into upper stretch, determinedly dug in past the furlong marker and edged clear in deep stretch. IT'S A GIRL tracked the early pace from the second flight and from outside of rivals, loomed four wide at the quarter pole then vied for the lead into upper stretch, battled through the lane but could not get by the determined winner late and was second best. CHASENUINMYDREAMS forwardly placed in the early going, tracked the pace from between runners heading to the turn, was caught in tight while two to three wide nearing the quarter marker, found room into the stretch, was outkicked into the final sixteenth and just held for third at the wire. AND CHANGE settled off of the early pace, saved ground into the turn then swung three wide into upper stretch, gained ground at the furlong marker, finished evenly in the late stages and just missed for third. HAUTE LADY broke a bit awkwardly and was off a step slowly to begin, settled while saving ground in the early stages, swung five wide for the stretch drive and advanced at the furlong pole, could not sustain that run to the final sixteenth and flattened late. SUSSUMS GIRL tracked the pace from the inside, shifted two wide into upper stretch then lacked a late rally. SHEZA HAILSTORM showed good speed away from the start, engaged CHAMA STORM and pressed the pace inside of that runner into the turn, attended to the moderate fractions nearing the quarter pole, chased into the stretch then faded in the late stages. I GET STORMED settled outside of rivals in the early going, was guided three to four wide nearing the quarter marker, got floated out a bit into the stretch then did not factor in the final furlong.
