Chart notes

HOLY HANK broke alertly, ceded the early lead to MOJICA then prompted that rival through moderate fractions up the backstretch, pressed the pace to the quarter marker then took command into upper stretch, shook free from MOJICA at the furlong grounds then was ridden out into the final sixteenth and won in the end as much the best. MOJICA prominent away from the start, assumed early command and set moderate fractions while prompted into the backstretch, dueled HOLY HANK into the far turn, was overtaken by that rival into upper stretch but fought on to the furlong marker, was no match for the winner late and held for second at the finish. B BOLD CHARLIE allowed to settle while never far back early on, saved all of the ground to the second turn, could not muster the needed response into the stretch but stayed on into the final sixteenth and got up in time to earn the show honors. STAND UP GUY allowed to settle while never far back early on, tracked the moderate pace from between runners up the backstretch, swung four wide into upper stretch, could not find the needed late response and was outkicked for the minor awards. SHORT ROUND BOUND tracked the early pace from outside of runners, was floated out a bit along the first turn then raced widest into the backstretch, stalked the moderate pace three wide heading to the far turn, lost position into upper stretch then gave way. MY PEACHES Q keen while close up to the early pace and between runners, tracked the pace three wide into the backstretch, settled then tracked from the second flight heading to the half-mile pole, chased four to five wide approaching the quarter marker, stopped in upper stretch then trailed the rest of the way.
