Chart notes
FOXY RED rated nicely off of the early pace, trailed into the turn then was roused outside of rivals at the quarter marker, circled six wide into upper stretch and mounted a strong rally into the lane, wore down LA JOLLA BEACH in deep stretch and held late for a determined win. LA JOLLA BEACH sent to assume early command, set the pace from the two path while pressured along the turn, shook free into the stretch and held a clear lead at the furlong marker, met the bid of FOXY RED into the final sixteenth, was bested in deep stretch and was a clear second best. LEONAS GIRL bobbled then was shuffled back at the start and was off a bit slowly, tracked the pace to the turn, got caught behind runners while three wide at the quarter marker, found room four wide into upper stretch then got caught in tight at the furlong marker, chased the leading pair into the final sixteenth, could not make headway on those two and was a clear third. MO MONEY MOLLY pressed the early pace from inside of runners, shifted to the two path into the turn then was boxed in nearing the quarter marker, found room into upper stretch then chased to the furlong pole, could not muster a late response and weakened in the final sixteenth. MARKING'S MIRACLE broke well and vied for the early lead, pressed the pace three wide and between runners into the turn, lost position into upper stretch then gave way in the lane. KENTUCKY GOLD raced close up to the moderate early pace, stalked four wide approaching the quarter marker, could not keep pace into upper stretch and tired in the final furlong. BAM AGAIN pressed the early pace from between runners, disputed the pace from the rail into the turn, stopped in upper stretch, was eased through the lane and walked off under her own power.
