Chart notes
GOLD FIBER took command leaving the chute, widened the margin at every pole, never challenged kicked away driving through the wire. HARDLY EVER BETTER pressed inside leaving the chute, chased three wide leaving the sixteenth pole, no match to runaway winner held on late to secure the place. MISSIONARY chased off top pair to turn, rail bid leaving the furlong marker, closed the gap willingly through the stretch. COLT ROCK slow start, chased inside around the turn, shifted out four for the stretch drive, lacked the extra punch needed to snag a spot on the podium. GOLDEN ADAGE off pace off the rail, pressed on two wide into the lane, came up empty. MINELLA very slow leaving the chute, never threatened. TIMMY slow start, chased five then four wide, weakened.
