CLAY'S RUBY LOVE broke well and was sent to the front, vied inside through quick fractions then left the challengers behind after passing the three furlong pole, opened up turning for home and widened late. COASTAL GIRL was being hustled to enjoin the early pace battle but was not quick enough, kept out to the four of five path, came five wide into the stretch and put in a strong rally down the lane to get up for the place. SENT BY ANGELS was pushed to get forward position and hold the rail through the early stages, waited behind horses through the turn then finished well under steady handling to gain the third prize. PRANCING MATILDA hustled from the start and was intent to try and contest the early pace, backed off before the turn then came back under intermittent urging but was outfinished. MAGIC TIP broke with the pack but dropped back to last before the turn, kept to the inside through the turn and finished with some late interest to improve while never a serious threat. ETHAN'S GIRL broke well but had to be ridden late on the backstretch to keep pace, was stuck behind horses on the turn, then tipped to the three path for the stretch run but could not summon the needed response. LULA BELLA vied five wide on the early pace, was still in the running passing the quarter pole but faded in the stretch. GRAZED N' CONFUSED contested the early pace four wide between horses, dropped off at the five-sixteenths and had nothing left in the late stages.
