Chart notes
FEARLESS SOLDIER dueled inside of STAMP MY PASSPORT to the half, then took over the lead heading into the turn, came into the stretch with about a length advantage over the next rival, edged clear under steady handling and urging and prevailed. SURPRSINGLYPERFECT was off a bit slowly, saved ground to the stretch, angled out three wide at the three-sixtenenth pole and produced a grinding finish to get up for the place. STAMP MY PASSPORT stumbled at the break but recovered quickly, dueled outside of FEARLESS SOLDIER for the first half-mile, surrendered the lead at that point but kept in a stalking position through the turn, was put into a drive approaching the quarter pole to re-bid but could not find the needed response while holding steady for the third spot. YOU'REINTHEARMYNOW was allowed to settle from the break, went three wide through the first turn, continued wide down the backstretch then bid four to five wide into the turn and picked off a few tiring rivals after the issue had been decided. YOU'RE THE CAUSE settled in the middle of the pack through the first bend then was back with the trailers down the backstretch, tried to launch a rally on the far turn but was unable to summon another gear when needed and finished evenly. TENTH STREET DON was not asked for speed from the break settled at the rear lf the pack and chased througout. WHAT A DUDE tracked four wide was close up to the far turn then came up empty late.
