Chart notes
PICKING IT UP quickly went clear, held sway through the turn, opened up in the stretch and won as the rider pleased. JUSTIN AZTECA was outrun early, tracked well back four wide, launched a bid from the five-sixteenths, came five wide into the stretch and rallied on the left lead to get up for second. PRECEDENT LUKE broke well, tracked behind the pacesetter to the ouside of a rival, bid three wide into the stretch, had trouble changing leads and was outfinished for the place. DEVILNTHEBLUEGRAS broke a step slowly, rushed up the rail to gain contention before the turn, loomed a threat approaching the quarter pole, could not go with the eventual winner and flattened out in the stretch. BIG SWAG raced in the four path then dropped to the three path through the turn, made a mild middle move then flattened out coming off the last turn. JACOB YEN raced in the near the back of the pack early, became boxed in entering the turn, had some difficulty with the lead change at the top of the stretch and had little to offer in the stretch. BATTLEOF TRAFALGAR hustled from the break, was in contention mid-pack to the three furlong marker the weakened. SHANKADOPOLOUS tracked inside mid-pack then had nothing to offer in the stretch.
