Chart notes
WAUNEKA broke inward into I'M ON EDGE, then was coaxed a bit from the break to get forward position, tracked on the inside behind the lone speedster then angled out to the two path to set up a run, took command near the furlong marker and was going away in the end. PHUNK broke sharply and quickly went clear, took the field to the stretch, could not fend off the challenge from WAUNEKA in mid-stretch but saved the place. BILL'S QUEEN JEAN broke well and raced close up two to three wide to the turn, continued to follow the runaway leader to the stretch, bid three wide, could not go on with the top pair but kept on well to hold third well clear of the next horse. CAYMAN HOT got crowed by I'M ON EDGE at the start, then tracked on the rail to the turn, steadied in close quarters at three furlong pole, was coming back on late but was not good enough. THE NEXT BIG BLING broke out a bit at the start but avoided trouble, raced three deep in the middle of the pack, cut the inside corner into the stretch and finished willingly but could not find the winning kick. CITYCITYBLINGBLING tracked five wide early then started a mild bid three wide through the turn, dropped down to the rail for the stretch run, finished willingly but was unable to threaten. EVENING EDGE broke well, tracked in the middle of the pack then got put in tight by an outside rival and took up at the three furlong pole, struggled to regain momentum and finished evenly. OKIE BLING was slow to get into stride and lost the path a few strides out of the gate, angled over to the three path down the backstretch and through the turn but was never a factor. I'M ON EDGE was run into by WAUNEKA at the break and forced into CAYMAN HOT, then was unable to keep up from the start and trailed throughout.
