Chart notes
MOR PEANUTS broke best and took the lead but had to contend with a pair of foes through the initial stages, went on with DAY FOR THE GRAY through the turn, got the best of that foe passing the quarter pole then went clear in the stretch and held sway to the wire. GHOSTLY NIGHT was unhurried from the start then moved close up while keeping to the inside, was put to steady urging in the stretch and finished up well but had to share the spoils for the second spot with a rival. REGAL RUMOR settled from the break and allowed the pace scenario to play out up front, ranged up three wide on the turn, loomed at the quarter pole then produced a steady rally in the stretch to grab a share of the place prize. DAY FOR THE GRAY hustled from the break and vied three wide for the early lead, pressed MOR PEANUTS through the turn then came under pressure passing the quarter pole and went evenly late. JUST A SIP briefly engaged in the early pace mix then had to be ridden to keep up, dropped to last on the turn and had nothing to offer late.
