Chart notes
HIGHER ED set a prompted pace from the inside heading to the turn, shook free and led to the quarter pole, kicked clear into upper stretch then drew off while ridden out to the final sixteenth, was geared down in deep stretch and won as much the best. AR YA WEEGEE stalked the pace three wide nearing the quarter marker, chased the winner into upper stretch, was no match for HIGHER ED into the late stages and got up in the final strides for the place. DAUX stumbled at the start and broke a bit slowly, rushed up and tracked the early pace while saving ground into the turn, chased from the inside into upper stretch, could not keep pace with HIGHER ED into the final furlong and was outfinished late for the place, while clear of the rest for the show. MCTHANKS tracked the early pace, went two to three wide and between runners nearing the quarter marker, could not find the needed response in the stretch and passed tiring foes late. ANTONIOS MARK tracked the early pace from between runners, got caught in tight then took up and was shuffled back approaching the turn, shifted to the rail and chased to the stretch then could not muster the needed late response. STILL IN THE TRAP allowed to settle early on, saved ground along the turn then did not threaten in the stretch. THUNDER DOME settled in the second flight to begin, tracked six wide to the quarter marker, swung seven wide for the stretch drive then was not a factor in the stretch. ONE MARK took back off of the early pace, chased five to six wide into upper stretch then could not make a late impact. THRUTHESTORM prominent early, pressed the pace two wide and between runners into the turn, lost position nearing the quarter marker then faded in the stretch. BEACH RUNNER close up in the early stages, tracked four wide to the turn, chased five wide to the quarter marker, swung eight wide into upper stretch then came up empty in the lane.
