Chart notes
FOOLISH DELIGHT allowed to settle early, trailed and saved ground to the turn, was caught a bit in tight nearing the quarter marker, split rivals and bid two wide into upper stretch, tipped out for the drive then chased PINK PACIFIC into the final furlong, wore down that rival in deep stretch then held at the wire over the oncoming runner-up. CHARLEE MAE tracked the early pace three to four wide and between rivals, well placed into the turn, rallied into upper stretch then ran in pursuit into the final furlong, closed willingly in deep stretch and just missed for the win, while getting up in time for second. PINK PACIFIC showed good early speed, set the pace to the turn, held a clear lead into the lane then became weary into the final furlong, yielded to the top pair in deep stretch and was well clear of the rest for third. BRAND LOYALTY tracked the early pace two to three wide and between runners, lost position into upper stretch and lacked a response in the late stages. LOANA stalked the pace from the inside, steadied slightly approaching the top of the lane then weakened in the stretch drive. EPWORTH tracked the early pace from outside of runners, lost position while four to five wide nearing the quarter pole, trailed into upper stretch then came up empty late.
