TAKE CHARGE TOM tracked the early pace while three wide, was well placed into the backstretch run, roused three wide into the far turn, vied for the lead at the quarter marker then took command into upper stretch, drew to a clear lead at the furlong grounds then drew away under steady late hand urging. WOW THAT'S HOT prompted the pace two wide and between rivals in the early stages, vied for the lead into the second turn then drifted in nearing the quarter marker, was outkicked by TAKE CHARGE TOM into upper stretch, chased the winner into the final sixteenth and bested the rest for second. KNOCK KNOCK JOKE set the early pace from the inside, carved out moderate fractions while prompted up the backstretch, was crowded then took up nearing the quarter marker, lost position into the stretch, stayed on while in pursuit in the late stages and won the nod on the wire for third. REMEMBER BIG JIM allowed to settle early on while never far back, made a four wide middle move nearing the half-mile pole, lost position into the second turn, chased four wide into upper stretch then was outkicked in the drive. BLUE OCEAN RAVE settled while saving ground early on, saved all of the ground to the second turn, shifted three wide into upper stretch, chased to the furlong marker, was caught in tight and checked at mid-stretch then gave way in the final stages. THE JOCKEY OF KNOCK KNOCK JOKE LODGED AN OBJECTION AGAINST THE RIDER OF WOW THAT'S HOT FOR INTERFERENCE ON THE SECOND TURN. THE STEWARDS DISALLOWED THAT OBJECTION AND RULED THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE.
