Chart notes
FLASHY JEZEBEL settled three wide, let the pace scenario layout on the turn, launched a bid from the five-sixteenths pole, took advantage of a big opening along the rail into the stretch then finished well under steady handling, all out late to hold safe from late bid. SELINUS stalked BANGO GAL through the early stages, bid 3-wide on the turn for home, finished well on the outside of rivals in the stretch but could not get to the winner. BANGO GAL veered out about four paths at the start then about the same number of lengths behind early down the backstretch, rushed up to join the pack near the half-mile maker, then steadied dropped behind again, then made a huge late run to get third. HAZAEL carved out all the early fractions to the turn with only SELINUS close up, drifted about three wide into the stretch, leaving the rail wide open, battled gamey to mid-stretch the weakened in the final furlong. DISTORTED LOUV was briefly up with the early pace, then struggled to keep up on the turn and was outrun in the stretch. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
