Chart notes
SHE STOPPED SHORT tracked the pace setter on the outside up the backstretch, challenged from the three path coming around the turn and kicked clear in the stretch. BELLE OF THE SOUTH veered out at at the start, pressed the pace between horses through the opening quarter, raced in the two path around the turn and was caught in the final furlong but chased on to the wire. MISS C BANKER led the way on the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and gave way in late stretch. IN THE BREEZE raced off the pace on the inside early, navigated the bend from the two path and made no bid. E COMPLICATO veered out leaving the gate, settled off the pace on the outside for the run up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path and was empty in the lane.
