Chart notes
GIRLY THE BUTCHER saved ground around the first turn, settled off the pace for the run up the backstretch, came around the far turn in the two path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and kicked clear in the lane. MY JANNET saved ground early, tracked the leaders from the middle of the pack for the run up the backstretch, swung out to the four path coming around the far bend and improved position from there. AZTEC PRINCESS saved ground at the back of the pack through the opening half mile, continued around the far turn in the two path, began a bid entering the stretch and gained ground late. HEARTBURN raced in the two path around the first turn, dueled on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the second turn from the three path and faded in the lane. ARMONIA saved ground around the first bend, dueled on the inside up the backstretch, continued to save ground around the far turn and tired in the stretch. LIZQUEENFLUERDELIS trailed the field while saving ground throughout and was never a factor.
