Chart notes
OH ANGEL stalked two wide to the far turn, took command leaving the quarter pole, came into the stretch with a clear lead held off a calvary charge of challengers under a drive to the wire drifting out some in the final yards. CANADA CANDY lagged near the back with the trailing group, steadily advanced through the far turn, had a little trouble changing leads at the top of the stretch but got straight with about a furlong to go and finished well, was gaining rapidly on OH ANGEL but ran out of time. FALL MOON trailed well behind with only LADY CRUISER behind through the first half, launched a sustained bid with three furlongs to run, went three wide through the turn then four wide at the top of the stretch, finished with a rush but could not get to the winner in time. SHE'S A BOSSY GIRL got a good tracking spot on the rail behind the leading trio, launched a bid after passing the three furlong pole, made a nice run up the rail but came up short. ORANGE THEORY was a bit keen from the break and pulled the rider to the front going into the first turn, stalked the pace for the first half under a hold, pulled back from the speed duel the tried to re-bid three wide on the far turn, had some trouble with the lead change and could not offer the needed response. GYPSY WIFE raced well behind the pace while saving ground, responded when asked at the top of the stretch but was outkicked to the wire. CHARLEY PAINTS trailed near the back of the field through the early stages, offered a mild late bid in the stretch but was not good enough. BEE A BALI gained the early lead without really being asked, surrendered the lead with three furlongs to run and had little to offer in the stretch. LADY CRUISER dropped to last coming off the first turn and trailed from that point.
