Chart notes

RACHEL'S CAPER tracked the early pace while saving ground, angled four wide nearing the quarter marker, chased three wide into upper stretch, responded then vied for the lead between rivals into the final sixteenth and got up in the final strides for a game win. LEVIATHAN AXE tracked the early pace three wide, well placed into the backstretch, bid three then two wide nearing the quarter marker and took command into upper stretch, drew clear past mid-stretch, was all out into the final sixteenth then was nailed for the win, while just holding for the place. WRINKLE ROAD broke in the air and was off slowly, allowed to settle early on, advanced along the backstretch then roused five wide into the second turn, made a sustained rally to the furlong marker, surged outside of rivals into the final sixteenth and just missed for the win and place, while clear of the rest for the show. SEARCHIN SAFARI attended to the early pace from between runners, chased the pace to the second turn then vied for the lead nearing the quarter marker, battled into upper stretch, could not find more into the final sixteenth and weakened in the late stages. HE BLUE BAYOU broke alertly, showed good early speed and set the pace into the first turn, set a prompted pace up the backstretch, overtaken along the second turn, was eased through the lane and walked off under his own power. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
