SEND THE BOSS forwardly placed early on, tracked the pace while saving ground into the first turn, well placed up the backstretch, saved all of the ground to the far turn then bid for the lead at the quarter marker, battled into upper stretch, found more into the final sixteenth and held safely late for the win. AMBIGUOUS tracked the early pace from outside of runners, was well placed while four wide heading to the half-mile pole, chased four wide into the far turn, was caught a bit in tight nearing the top of the lane and angled widest for the drive, made a sustained rally into the final sixteenth, could not reel in the winner in deep stretch and got up in time for second. R DOC forwardly placed in the early stages, tracked two to three wide into the backstretch, attended to the pace between runners nearing the half-mile marker, bid three wide into the second turn then got floated four wide into upper stretch, vied for the lead nearing the furlong pole then hung past mid-stretch, was outfinished in the final sixteenth and missed for second, while holding safely for third. EMPIRE'S BEST broke alertly and assumed early command, set his own pace up the backstretch then was confronted into the far turn, drifted out a path into upper stretch then dug in and met bids into the lane, stubbornly battled between rivals into the final sixteenth then yielded in deep stretch.
